Our crew collaborated with the Chicago’s Pizza team to develop a solid brand and photo-rich website to meet the restaurant chain’s needs.
We provided a facelift for the logo, harkening back to a time when life was more laid back. We also developed a tagline to tie the new leadership to the forward-moving chain: “Our story is told in every slice.”
The site presented some unique challenges: the chain has 16 restaurants in central and southern Indiana, and one restaurant managed their own stand-alone website.
When customers visit the website, choosing the proper restaurant location is critical to view the correct menu and contact information. We addressed this need by prominently placing “Menu by locations” lists in several places on the site, funneling visitors to the proper location’s information hub.
To increase SEO and streamline information, we redirected the individual restaurant’s domain to the newly secured domain, www.chicagospizza.com. We drafted website content from scratch, wordsmithing for improved SEO, and honed the menus to increase readability.
Results: This brand and tagline accurately defines Chicago’s Pizza. Its website showcases the restaurant’s delicious, handmade pizza, and proclaims the well-established history of Chicago’s Pizza. The site boasts a 34% increase in year-over-year website traffic and continues to increase significantly.
